Dr Kavita Shah & Dr Ashwin Shah, are leading Psychiatrists of Kolhapur. They have completed their post-graduation in Psychological Medicine from Mumbai and started an exclusive Psychiatry indoor setup in 2007 by the name “Parshwa Hospital” in Kolhapur.
Soon they realized the need of a Multispecialty Unit where all high-risk Psychiatry patients who needs ICU back up can be treated. Keeping this in mind, a 50 bedded “Tulip Multispecialty Hospital” was started, which is recognized by Maharashtra State Mental Health Authority.

It is “A Complete Mind Care” Unit including Out Patient Department, Indoor department with Psychiatric ICU facility to accommodate high risk psychiatric patients with co-morbidities like Hypertension, Diabetes, Brain injuries, Alcoholic liver disease, Kidney problems etc.

They have a complete team of Clinical & Counseling Psychologists who are trained to perform Psychological testing & give various behavioral therapies.

Dr Kavita & Dr Ashwin Shah has delivered various lectures in schools and colleges, public awareness programs about psychological problems. They have to their credit various articles in newspapers, public interviews to de-stigmatize the psychological illness. They have conducted workshops for child guidance and stress management.
